About Abel
Although being obsessed with anything on wheels before he could even walk, Abel officially started his journey as a Driver at the age of 7 in 2024 racing Quarter Midget's in the Nascar Youth Series. This dream of his was made possible with the support of his Family and Friends along with the help from his Grandparents, Doug & Lisa Lloyd and their race team, Lloyd Family Racing LLC. Our Hometown Track is located in Topeka, KS where we joined the Topeka Kansas Quarter Midget Association (TKQMA). Abel started his first season driving the #21 "Blue Flame", - small BullRider Racecar where he competed primarily in the Rookie class learning and gaining experience. He will be starting the 2025 season completing the final stage of his Rookie Training and advancing to the Competitive Class, Junior Honda. He will be racing his official LloydFamlyRacing number, #7a - medium BR1 BullRider Racecar powered by a Scott's Racing UT3 Honda 120 Engine. We are excited to see where this journey takes us and grateful for all those who've helped up go Fast!
Career Highlights
-Local Points Race #13 - Started Heat in 3rd, Advanced to finish in 1st. Started Feature in 1st, held the lead to finish in 1st.
-First Muli-State Race (All American Clash Series) - Started his Heat in 3rd but fell back to 5th. Started Feature in 5th and advanced to finish in 2nd.
